
You'll get (at least)1.2kg of red wine barrel staves cut into chunks and packed in a 100% biodegradable, reusable jute bag. We have smoked a butt of pork and roasted a beer-can chicken with chunks thrown on top of the coals. You could even line them up on top of the grill with a piece of salmon on them, for a lightly smoked flavour, somewhat like wine-soaked cedar plank.
